How to marinate the chicken

Dry the chicken thighs and place them in a Ziplock bag, or a plastic container. Coat the chicken with the marinade. Marinate for 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake it gently so the excess can drip back into the bowl. Don’t discard the marinade.

Sear: In a skillet sear the chicken on the skin side for about 3 minutes or until golden. Flip the thighs and arrange them in the skillet. Pour the reserved marinade.

Bake the thighs for 35-40 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F). For the best results make sure you read the whole recipe!

Check the sauce after about 25 minutes. If it has reduced too much, add a small splash of water or chicken stock and stir it to combine it with the sauce.
